FLY 51 debuts with Zé Neto & Cristiano and reshapes Porto Alegre’s nightlife

FLY 51 opens on March 28 with Zé Neto & Cristiano, a 15,000-person capacity, and R$ 250 million yearly economic impact. Porto Alegre is about to experience a new era in major events. The FLY 51 entertainment megacomplex, built on the grounds of Salgado Filho International Airport, debuts on March 28 with a night of over ten hours of music and celebration. The main show will feature Zé Neto & Cristiano, one of Brazil’s biggest sertanejo duos, joined by Bruno César & Rodrigo, Netto DJ, and three regional DJs, offering a diverse and high-quality musical experience from day one. The project, a partnership between Grupo TE2 Hospitality, Greenvalley (Grupo GV), GDO Produções, and Grupo Prime, represents a R$ 40 million investment. Once consolidated, it is expected to inject R$ 250 million annually into the local economy and create hundreds of jobs.

Architecture and structure

With more than 27,000 m², FLY 51 was designed by Axelrud Arquitetura with support from RTR Arquitetura to host everything from concerts to corporate events. The flexible venue holds 2,000 to 15,000 guests, includes over 6,000 m² of covered space, parking for 400 cars, food courts, 400 restrooms, VIP areas, rest zones, and a modular stage.

Prime location

Located near Avenida Sertório, the venue is steps from the train station with easy access to the metropolitan area. The land is part of the Fraport Brasil concession area of the Salgado Filho Airport, highlighting the site’s strategic positioning.

“FLY 51 is a milestone for Porto Alegre and for the southern entertainment market. It redefines production standards,” said Kamil Nagib Sarquis, Events and Marketing Director at GDO Produções.

The next confirmed show happens on April 4 with Sorriso Maroto and Turma do Pagode. The venue aims to host a blend of musical genres, corporate events, and cultural experiences throughout the year.
