The Dia de Rock Festival returns for its 5th edition in Juiz de Fora, Brazil, May 1–3, 2026 — free admission, with Nação Zumbi, Garotos Podres, and Black Pantera on the bill.
This year, the festival moves to a new and symbolic location: Praça Tarcísio Delgado (formerly Praça Antônio Carlos), a historic public square in the heart of Juiz de Fora, Minas Gerais. The venue change reflects the event’s growth and offers expanded capacity and infrastructure for audiences.
A lineup that spans Brazilian rock history
The Dia de Rock Festival 2026 brings together artists from across the Brazilian rock spectrum. Nação Zumbi — a landmark act known for blending maracatu rhythms, rock, and electronic elements — is among the headliners. Punk legends Garotos Podres, one of the most important names in Brazilian punk, are also confirmed. Black Pantera, a Minas Gerais trio that merges hardcore and metal with socially charged lyrics, will perform in an acoustic (unplugged) format.
The project Battery offers a unique experience: a symphonic reinterpretation of Metallica‘s catalog, bringing a cinematic dimension to classic metal anthems.
Independent scene takes the stage
The festival also shines a spotlight on independent and original music. Luma Schiavon blends alternative rock with contemporary songwriting. Purple Lips dives into garage and psychedelic rock. Big Dodg Daddy mixes rock, blues, and southern rock influences. Tarantina explores indie and alternative rock. Cigarras brings indie rock energy, while Pense represents established Brazilian hardcore.
The Mostra de Bandas (Band Showcase) remains one of the festival’s core pillars. From over 130 submissions, six original projects were selected to perform on the official stage — two per day throughout the weekend.

Beyond the concerts, the festival features a food and beverage area, merchandise stalls with rock culture products, and other audience-facing activations.
