The iconic duo celebrates their career with special guests and a heartfelt performance at Arena Multiplace.
On November 26, the city of Goiânia (GO) hosted one of the most emotional moments in the career of Gian & Giovani. The duo recorded their new DVD, “Planeta Sonho,” at the Arena Multiplace, celebrating decades of success with a sold-out audience, flawless production and unforgettable collaborations.
Production and setlist
Directed by Flaney Gonzallez and produced by Junior Melo, the project was conceived by Marcinho Costa and Andressa Maira. The DVD features 26 songs, including six brand-new tracks and 20 re-recorded classics like “Planeta Sonho,” “Olha Amor,” “Amigo Seu,” and the timeless “O Grande Amor da Minha Vida (Convite de Casamento).”
Special guests
The event began with a lively introduction by Cuiabano Lima. Alexandre Pires joined the duo for emotional renditions of “Nem Dormindo Consigo Te Esquecer” and “Arrependo em Dobro.” Bruno & Marrone performed “Favo de Mel” and “Me Faz Te Odiar,” while Jorge & Mateus thrilled the crowd with “Caçador de Corações” and “Casinha Branca.”
Murilo Huff collaborated on “Taça de Pranto” and the new song “Duas Toalhas,” and Maiara & Maraisa shone on “Eu Busco Uma Estrela” and “Te Amo Mais Sincero.”
A night to remember
“This project means a lot to us. ‘Planeta Sonho’ is our way of thanking everyone who has been part of our journey and still believes in our work,” said Gian. “We wanted every person there to share the same emotion we felt. It was truly unforgettable,” added Giovani.
The “Planeta Sonho” DVD will be released soon on digital platforms.
