Gilberto Gil’s farewell concert from the “Tempo Rei” tour takes place on March 28, 2026, at Allianz Parque, São Paulo.
After touring Brazil and drawing more than 620,000 people, TEMPO REI reaches its grand finale. The farewell concert will take place on March 28, 2026, at Allianz Parque, in São Paulo, featuring special guests and a celebratory atmosphere.
A historic farewell
The inclusive spirit of Gilberto Gil is one of the highlights of his final tour — seen backstage, on stage, and in the audience, where multiple generations sing along in harmony. The closing show promises to be an emotional and unforgettable experience.
TEMPO REI celebrates Gil’s six-decade career, merging reflection and joy. The setlist features intimate moments like “Se eu quiser falar com Deus” and festive classics such as “Toda menina baiana”, “Esperando na janela”, and “Aquele abraço”.
Immersive and symbolic experience
A key visual element of the show is the LED vortex suspended above the stage. This unique structure represents time and blends digital imagery with lighting to create a deeply personal and spiritual experience for each viewer.
Before performing “Aqui e Agora”, Gil often reflects: “This is my farewell to the big shows I’ve done over these 60 years. Being here together is the true meaning of it all.”
Direction and special guests
Directed by Rafael Dragaud with musical direction by Bem Gil and José Gil, the concert features a large band composed of family members and long-time collaborators, plus a string quartet. Throughout the tour, Gil welcomed guests such as Caetano Veloso, Chico Buarque, Marisa Monte, Russo Passapusso, and Liniker.
The tour is produced by 30e and Gege Produções Artísticas. Presented by Banco do Brasil, it is sponsored by Correios, Rolex, and Estrella Galicia, with support from WhatsApp, Smiles, and GAC. Ourocard Visa cards are the official payment method.
