Grande Encontro Kicks Off 2026 Free Show in Tramandaí

O Grande Encontro – Música dos Gaúchos launches 2026 season with a free show on January 24 at Tramandaí’s Avenida Beira-Mar, featuring 13 Gaucho music acts.

Seaside opener celebrates Gaucho music

Following 2025’s success, O Grande Encontro – Música dos Gaúchos returns stronger. Launched in 2013 by Ayrton Patineti dos Anjos, it highlights authentic Rio Grande do Sul regional music. The season kicks off Saturday, January 24, at 8 PM in Tramandaí.

Performers include César Oliveira and Rogério Melo, Neto Fagundes, Joca Martins, Shana Müller, Ernesto Fagundes, Daniel Torres, Loma Pereira, Mauro Moraes, Érlon Péricles, Rock de Galpão, Pirisca Grecco, Luiza Barbosa, and Ricardo Bergha. A backing band ensures smooth transitions.

Backing band unites diverse artists

Paulinho Goulart, Guilherme Castilhos, Guilherme Goulart, Gustavo Brodinho, Ariane Wink, Bruno Coelho, and Rafael Bisogno make up the backing band. They blend generations and styles, delivering fresh collaborations and Gaucho classics. Libras interpretation will be available throughout.

Last year, the project toured as Reconstruindo o Rio Grande, backed by Banrisul’s edital. It featured eight shows, from Porto Alegre to interior towns. The year closed at Auditório Araújo Vianna.

O Grande Encontro boosts local culture and creative economy. It drives tourism, hospitality, and local business in host cities. The 2026 season will add more dates for wider reach.
