After selling out his first performance and winning over the audience with an intimate show, Gabriel Grandó returns to Encouraçado Butikin for an extra concert on December 9, accompanied by his band John Tellers.
The show celebrates the release of the EP “Melodias Guardadas, Vol. 1”, marking the musical debut of the Brazilian architect, known for his work at IDEIA1 Arquitetura. On stage, Gabriel transforms memories and life experiences into songs blending MPB, experimental, and progressive rock.
Composed between ages 18 and 22, the EP’s tracks were stored for over a decade until 2025. Highlights include “Eu Vou Sonegar” and “Artesãos do Espaço,” a tribute to architecture and urban landscapes.
The EP features production by Diogo Brochmann (Dingo), drums by Pedro Petracco, and vocals from Luíza Pezzali. Live, John Tellers adds a vibrant signature to the arrangements, creating a visceral atmosphere that motivated the extra show.
The extra concert offers an opportunity for those who missed the first show, delivering an experience of original music, sensitive storytelling, and a well-crafted sonic aesthetic.
