A Carnival run that left no empty seats
Grupo Chocolate wrapped up Carnival 2026 on a high note: every single show of the season sold out. The run swept through cities across Rio Grande do Sul, Santa Catarina, and São Paulo, drawing packed houses and electrifying crowd singalongs from the first song to the last.
Back in Porto Alegre, the group now returns for another edition of Resenha do 10, part of the weekly project Pagode, Futebol e Churrasco (Pagode, Football & Barbecue). Tonight’s gathering starts at 7:30 PM at Prime Sports, in the Cavalhada neighborhood.
A thousand fans and a surprise guest
The last edition drew more than one thousand people to the venue for a night of music and celebration. The highlight was a special appearance by singer Yan, who joins the group on the new track “Foi Quase” — already making waves on streaming platforms. Tonight promises another surprise guest.
The Pagode, Futebol e Churrasco project runs every Wednesday and has become one of Porto Alegre’s go-to weekly experiences — combining great live music, a laid-back atmosphere, and the warmth of a backyard hangout with friends.
“Alô Virgínia” and the numbers behind the rise
The group’s momentum is undeniable. “Alô Virgínia” has surpassed 40 million streams, cracked the Top 5 of Spotify Global’s Hits Virais playlist, and gained international traction — particularly in Portugal. Across all platforms, the track has now crossed the 1 billion plays milestone.
Made up of Gabriel Rocha (vocals and cavaquinho), Luiz Alberto (vocals), Matheus Dias (pandeiro), and Léo Maia (tantan), the group boasts around 6.6 million monthly listeners on Spotify, over 350,000 Instagram followers, 320,000 on TikTok, and more than 75 million YouTube views.
