On Tuesday (April 14), Grupo Onda officially launched its Northeast branch, based in Salvador, Bahia. The expansion signals a strategic and cultural commitment to one of Brazil’s most vibrant creative regions.

Marking the occasion, the company announced the artistic management of Bahian singer and songwriter Diggo, in partnership with pagode group Menos é Mais. The move strengthens Grupo Onda’s ties to the Northeast’s thriving music scene.

Hits that defined a generation

Diggo has quietly become one of Brazil’s most in-demand songwriters. He co-wrote “Hipnotiza”, a collaboration with Léo Santana that surpassed nine million views on YouTube. He also penned “Dengo”, a major hit for João Gomes, and “Shot 43”, performed by Mumuzinho.

Now signed with Grupo Onda, the Bahian artist is poised for an even bigger 2026, with new projects already in the pipeline.

Strategy rooted in culture

The inauguration of our new office in Bahia expresses more than a strategic decision — it also comes from the heart. The Northeast is a place with a thriving market, full of inspiration and an energy you can only find here. With the announcement of Diggo as one of our artists, Grupo Onda’s bond with the northeastern territory has just gained even more connection and dimension.

The new structure enables closer engagement with the local market and celebrates regional talent. The launch event brought together partners, music industry executives, and artists who are part of Grupo Onda’s success story.

I’m very happy and excited about the next steps in my career, now being represented by the powerhouses at Grupo Onda and Menos É Mais. 2026 promises to be very transformative. I feel ready to release new work, with the support of professionals who are national references in the music market.
