Grupo Sua Música records Deu Samba! on Jan 11 in Fortaleza at Bar da Mocinha, with an open samba circle and guests from its roster.
Grupo Sua Música will take an unprecedented step with the recording of its new audiovisual project Deu Samba!, set for Sunday, January 11, 2026, starting at 3:00 pm. Created by the group, the event dives into samba and pagode, bringing together artists, the public and the press for a celebration shaped by music and memory.
The intimate, nostalgia-tinged recording features confirmed guests Laninha Show, Belinho da Silva, Mil Vibes, Mesura, Dipas, Davizão, Iury Xeloko, Gabi Nunes and Grupo DTF. The artists are part of Sua Música Digital’s current roster.
The session will take place at Bar da Mocinha in Fortaleza, Ceará, a well-known weekend hotspot for pagode fans. Chosen to match the project’s essence, the venue will host an open-to-the-public samba circle in a sit-down setting, where artists sing, interact and share stories across generations.
A setlist built on classics and partido alto
According to the group, the repertoire will spotlight lesser-recorded songs and genre classics. The plan also includes a bloco dedicated to partido alto, drawing on roots samba and the Rio de Janeiro aesthetics of the 1990s.
Market move and project structure
Deu Samba! stems from a market read as well. In the second half of 2025, Sua Música identified significant growth in samba and pagode streams and plays across digital platforms, prompting the group to deepen partnerships, expand its artist base in the genres and build a dedicated project.
Designed as a showcase and support asset, the audiovisual aims to strengthen the distributor’s samba and pagode roster. The recording will be organized into eight blocks, totaling roughly 40 to 50 tracks, with four songs captured per artist in scheduled sessions.
Music production is led by Iury Monte (Xeloko), who also appears as a guest. Image capture and editing will be handled by For All, a company within the group.
The release is planned for the first week of February, distributed by Sua Música Digital. The rollout will be gradual until the full project arrives.
