Guns N’ Roses return to Rio after nearly 10 years for a concert at Engenhão on April 10, 2026. Tickets on sale November 30.
Nearly a decade after their last visit, Guns N’ Roses will reunite with Rio’s fans for a long-awaited concert. The band announced a new leg of their “Because What You Want and What You Get Are Two Completely Different Things” tour in Brazil, with a performance at Nilton Santos Stadium (Engenhão) on Friday, April 10, 2026. Tickets go on sale Sunday, November 30, through Bilheteria Digital. The concert is produced by Like Entretenimento and promoted by Mercury Concerts.
Besides Rio, the group will perform in eight other Brazilian cities. Axl Rose, Slash, and Duff McKagan will headline Monsters of Rock in São Paulo on April 4. Other stops include Porto Alegre (Apr 1), São José do Rio Preto (Apr 7), Cariacica (Apr 10), Salvador (Apr 15), Fortaleza (Apr 18), São Luís (Apr 21), and Belém (Apr 25).
This new tour follows a record-breaking run earlier this year that filled stadiums and drew fans from across the country. The Rio concert will feature timeless hits such as “Sweet Child O’ Mine,” “Welcome to the Jungle,” “Paradise City,” and “November Rain.”
Legacy and impact
Guns N’ Roses remain one of the most influential bands in rock history. Their debut album, “Appetite for Destruction” (1987), became the best-selling debut record in U.S. history. The “Not In This Lifetime…” tour (2016–2019) ranked as the fourth most profitable tour of all time.
