“Roommates” is out now as Hilary Duff sets the pace for luck… or something, with an official video and a sold-out intimate tour starting next week.
Multi-platinum global star Hilary Duff has released “Roommates,” the second single from her upcoming album luck… or something, due February 20 via Atlantic Records. The track is available across platforms and arrives alongside an official music video on YouTube.
Per the announcement, “Roommates” was written by Duff with her husband, GRAMMY®-winning songwriter and producer Matthew Koma, and Brian Phillips. Koma and Phillips also co-produced the song. The video was directed by Matty Peacock.

Duff frames the track as the restless hum of trying to find your way back—back to your rhythm, your person, and yourself. She points to everyday pressures—rides, budgeting, grocery runs—and the way old or new insecurities can surface inside that routine.
luck… or something arrives February 20
Duff’s sixth studio album, luck… or something, also includes lead single “Mature.” VOGUE praised the track for taking Duff’s sound in new directions while still feeling unmistakably her.
The release notes that “Mature” cleared 5 million global streams in its first week. Its video, directed by Lauren Dunn, has passed 3.3 million views on YouTube, and a behind-the-scenes mini documentary is also available there.
“Small Rooms, Big Nerves” tour kicks off next week
Next week, Duff begins rolling out the album with the “Small Rooms, Big Nerves” tour—an intimate run that is completely sold out. The shows mark her first headline dates in more than a decade.
Presented by Live Nation, the run starts January 19 at London’s O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire. It then moves to Toronto (January 24), New York (January 27), and Los Angeles (January 29).
To celebrate the album release, Duff will also play two sold-out residencies at Voltaire at The Venetian Resort Las Vegas, scheduled for February 13–15 and May 22–24.
