A Reunion Years in the Making

Jason Mraz is back. The American singer-songwriter launches his “Return to South America Tour” in Brazil this week, marking his first run of concerts in the country in almost a decade. Backed by a full band and a retrospective setlist spanning more than 20 years of music, the artist is set to deliver shows defined by warmth, intimacy, and a genuine bond with Brazilian audiences.

Fan favorites like I’m Yours, Lucky, I Won’t Give Up, and Have It All are expected to anchor a set that also dips into more recent material — a celebration of an artist who has consistently reinvented himself while staying true to his roots.

Five Cities, Five Nights

The Brazilian leg opens on March 3 in Curitiba at the Teatro Positivo, then moves to São Paulo on March 5 at Espaço Unimed. The tour continues in Rio de Janeiro on March 6 at Vivo Rio, followed by Belo Horizonte on March 8 at BeFly Hall, and wraps up in Porto Alegre on March 10 at Auditório Araújo Vianna.

When announcing the South American return, Mraz spoke openly about the thrill of revisiting regions where fans have always shown up with extraordinary energy. Brazil, in particular, holds a special place in his touring history — the artist has publicly expressed deep affection for Brazilian crowds and the unique electricity of performing live in the country.

The goal is to celebrate a connection built over time — shows that blend lightness, emotion, positive energy, and the welcoming spirit that has always defined his relationship with audiences.
