Keco Brandão’s new single “É Desígnio Sim” expands the “Com Vida Vol. 3” project with pianist and vocalist Breno Ruiz.
The Brazilian musician, composer, and producer Keco Brandão continues his collaborative project “Com Vida,” now in its third edition. The track marks the beginning of his partnership with Breno Ruiz, who not only co-wrote but also performs the song.
Ruiz, known for his collaborations with Paulo César Pinheiro, has been praised by Edu Lobo and Egberto Gismonti as one of the outstanding talents of his generation. Brandão, who crafted both the lyrics and arrangement, creates a dreamlike soundscape blending piano, keyboards, and layered vocals that verge on the ethereal.
The recording also features Toninho Ferragutti on accordion, the only musician besides Brandão performing on the base tracks. Mixed and recorded by Alexandre Fontanetti and Pedro Luz at Space Blues Studio, and mastered by Carlinhos Freitas, the production reveals Brandão’s signature sophistication and attention to detail.
“É Desígnio Sim” is available on all major streaming platforms since February 2026.
