Brazilian singer Linda Ramalho releases a double single featuring a Pitty cover, previewing her first live album recorded in Rio de Janeiro in late 2025.
One of the most compelling voices in Brazil’s new rock generation, singer-songwriter Linda Ramalho has just dropped a double single that sets the stage for her first live album. The release brings together the original track “Quem é Quem?” — reworked from its electronic origins into a full rock arrangement — and a striking cover of “Memórias” by iconic Brazilian rock artist Pitty.
A stage animal captures her moment
Linda has been performing since her teenage years, when she played with various bands before launching her solo career in 2018. Live shows, filled with improvisation and raw energy, became her natural habitat. That experience led her to document the moment: “Linda Ramalho Ao Vivo” was recorded at Estúdio Eco Som in Rio de Janeiro in late 2025, in front of an intimate audience of friends and fans.
The album presents a more mature and self-assured artist, while keeping the rock and roll fire that defined her previous work. The full release is expected in late March 2026.
Honoring a lifelong influence
The choice to cover Pitty is deeply personal. Linda has followed her work across every phase and album. In her version of “Memórias,” she preserves the medley Pitty herself performs live, weaving in “Ando Meio Desligado” by Brazilian rock legends Os Mutantes.

In my version of ‘Memórias’ I even do the same medley she does, with ‘Ando Meio Desligado’ by Os Mutantes. Linda is backed by João Fessih (bass), Caco Braga (drums), and Diogo Lopes (guitar). The double single and two music videos are now available on streaming platforms and YouTube, released through Avohai Music in partnership with Discobertas.
