Chappell Roan, RIIZE, and Skrillex headlined a sprawling Day 2 at Lollapalooza Brasil 2026, drawing 85,000 fans from across the country and abroad.
A festival without borders
Lollapalooza Brasil 2026 cemented its place as a truly national — and international — event on its second day. With 52% of attendees traveling from outside the state of São Paulo, the Autódromo de Interlagos became a crossroads of cultures, sounds, and generations. Pop, rock, electronic, hip-hop, and K-pop all shared the same stage on the same afternoon.
“This year’s lineup is incredibly strong, with multiple headliners everyone wants to see — that made all the difference,” said Alexandre Morato, 26, from São Paulo. The crowd’s energy reflected that enthusiasm from the first act to the last.
Chappell Roan’s Brazilian debut
Chappell Roan made her long-awaited Brazilian debut on the Budweiser Stage, delivering a visually stunning performance for a crowd of 85,000. Hits like “Pink Pony Club” and “HOT TO GO!” electrified the audience, who had been waiting for hours — some since 7 a.m. — for a front-row spot.
Friends Danielle Silva Pereira and Ana Carolina Souza de Oliveira, both 22, arrived at the gates before sunrise in outfits inspired by “Pink Pony Club.” “In the lyrics, she describes it as a place where people can be themselves. I really identified with that,” Danielle said. Pink tones and cowboy hats defined the day’s fashion landscape.
Brazilian acts shine bright
Jadsa opened the Budweiser Stage with the show named best of the year by the São Paulo Association of Art Critics (APCA). She is also nominated for a Latin Grammy for Best Rock or Alternative Music Album, blending rock and MPB in a set that set the tone for the day.
Agnes Nunes made her Lollapalooza debut with two surprise guests: Tiago Iorc on “Pode se Achegar” and Brazilian legend Sandra de Sá performing the classic “Olhos Coloridos.” On the Samsung Galaxy Stage, the newly formed supergroup Foto em Grupo — featuring Ana Caetano (AnaVitória), Zani, Padro Calais (Lagum), and João Ferreira (Daparte) — delivered tracks like “A Noite É Uma Criança” to a captivated crowd.
Marina and a 1,900-mile journey
Welsh artist Marina inspired Adam Cruz and Pietro Santos, both 22, to travel nearly 1,900 miles from Belém to São Paulo. “She brings so much personality to every project. I find Marina truly innovative,” Cruz said. Marina leaned into her new album, presenting a theatrical, unconventional aesthetic that balanced artistry with crowd engagement.
Raoni, Perry Farrell, and Lewis Capaldi
One of the day’s most powerful moments came when Lollapalooza founder Perry Farrell took the stage alongside Chief Raoni Metuktire, the renowned Indigenous environmental activist. Speaking in his native Kayapó language, Raoni called on the festival’s young audience to protect the Amazon rainforest.
Lewis Capaldi delivered an emotionally charged set before the Budweiser Stage headliner. His performance included “Someone You Loved”, “Survive,” “Forget Me,” and “Before You Go,” drawing heartfelt singalongs from the crowd.
Hip-hop and electronic take over
Legends Cypress Hill brought multi-generational hip-hop energy to the Samsung Galaxy Stage, mixing English and Spanish tracks before closing with a massive crowd-jump during “Jump Around.” The group reinforced the festival’s commitment to honoring the roots of urban culture.
Skrillex, a nine-time Grammy winner, returned to Brazil with a high-octane set featuring pyrotechnics, walls of fire, and smoke curtains that turned the racetrack into an open-air rave. The performance was among the most visually spectacular of the entire weekend.
RIIZE closes Flying Fish Stage
RIIZE was one of the most anticipated sets of the day, drawing fans from across Latin America and beyond. Mother-daughter duo Lilian and Alejandra Sera traveled from Jalisco, Guadalajara, Mexico specifically for the show. “They’re incredibly talented. To me, they’re fantastic,” said Alejandra. “I’m not just here for my daughter — I genuinely love their music too,” added Lilian.
The K-pop sextet won over the crowd by learning Portuguese phrases, including chanting “Eu não vou embora” (“I’m not leaving”). With precise choreography and commanding stage presence, RIIZE closed the Flying Fish Stage with a dynamic show that captivated from the very first note.
Perry’s Stage and the new electronic wave
The Perry’s by Fiat Stage spotlighted the cutting edge of both Brazilian and international electronic music. Crizin da Z.O. made their festival debut with tracks from “Alma Braba” and “Acelero,” while UK producer Hamdi hit the stage wearing a Brazil jersey. 2hollis turned heads with a giant white tiger prop in a set blending experimental pop, electronic, and hip-hop.
MU450, the only Brazilian artist on the Lollapalooza India lineup this year, delivered a technological and intense performance. German duo Brutalismus 3000 closed the night with relentless energy, mixing hardcore, gabber, and electroclash.
