Creative process
For this project, Louis deepens his songwriting and challenges himself as a composer and performer. The first ideas emerged in the English countryside and evolved during three weeks in Santa Teresa, Costa Rica, in early 2025. There, he wrote and recorded alongside collaborator and co-producer Nico Rebscher.
The environment they immersed themselves in directly influenced the album’s tone, adding warmth and atmosphere to the compositions.
Releases and performances
The first single, “Lemonade”, surpassed 14 million streams and is in heavy rotation on international radio, including in Brazil. Louis performed “Lemonade” and a cover of Hozier’s “Too Sweet” on BBC Radio 1’s Live Lounge.
He will headline Capital Radio’s Jingle Bell Ball and appeared on the October cover of Rolling Stone UK. “Palaces” also received a special live session recorded for Amazon Music Presents.
