On April 14, Brazilian pagode singer Lucas Morato records his new audiovisual at Audio venue in São Paulo, featuring original songs and special guests.
The announcement signals the start of a bold new chapter in the artist’s career. Tickets are already on sale, starting at R$ 40, and the event is expected to draw a devoted fanbase eager to witness this milestone live.
Original repertoire and surprise guests
The Lucas Morato audiovisual will be built entirely around original material — carefully selected tracks that reflect the singer’s artistic evolution. The only confirmed song so far is “Do Jeito Que Eu Tô” (“Just the Way I Am”), a single released in early February that kicked off this new creative phase.
Special guest appearances have also been confirmed, though names are yet to be announced by the artist’s team.
My expectations for this project are incredibly high. I’m deeply involved in every detail. I want this DVD to represent growth and this new stage of my life. I can’t help but mention becoming a father and how much that has driven me to achieve as much as I possibly can.
The São Paulo that shaped him
The project’s aesthetic and musical vision is deeply rooted in the São Paulo that shaped Lucas’s artistic identity. The concept draws from the city’s vibrant nightlife of the 2000s and 2010s, with neighborhoods like Vila Olímpia, Faria Lima, Vila Madalena, Tatuapé, and Zona Norte serving as emotional touchstones.
What inspired me was the nostalgia of my São Paulo nights. The soul of Vila Olímpia, Faria Lima, Vila Madalena, Tatuapé, Zona Norte… that was the São Paulo that embraced me. That’s where I went to listen to and play pagode. I want the music in this project to feel like the soundtrack of that era.
A new project, a new life
Beyond the professional milestone, Lucas is also navigating a deeply personal transformation. The imminent arrival of his first child adds an emotional layer to this audiovisual, making it a project born alongside a more mature and purposeful version of the artist.
