Brazilian music legend Maria Bethânia takes the stage at Memorial da América Latina in September 2026, marking six decades of an unparalleled career.
Maria Bethânia has been confirmed as the latest headliner for the 12th edition of Coala Festival. On September 12 and 13, at the Memorial da América Latina in São Paulo, the iconic Bahian singer will celebrate 60 years of her career in a show that bridges generations.
The setlist promises a journey through her most beloved classics, including “Cheiro de Amor”, “As Canções Que Você Fez Pra Mim”, and “Não Dá Mais Pra Segurar (Explode Coração)”. Bethânia’s artistry has long transcended generations through her singular interpretive style.
A historic reunion
This performance marks a reunion between Bethânia and Coala’s audience. She previously closed the festival on a Sunday night in 2022 — a landmark edition that signaled the event’s return after the pandemic.
