Two Brazilian standouts head to Cascais
Coala Festival Portugal has announced two major additions to its 2026 edition. Marina Sena and Ana Frango Elétrico join a lineup that already includes Caetano Veloso, João Gomes, Slow J, Bonga, and Lulu Santos. The festival takes place on May 30 and 31 at the Hipódromo Manuel Possolo in Cascais, Portugal.
The festival’s curation is led by Gabriel Andrade, co-founder of the event, alongside Angolan musician and writer Kalaf Epalanga. Their programming vision bridges Brazil, Portugal, and Africa across generations and musical styles.
Marina Sena brings a bold new chapter to the stage
Marina Sena arrives in Cascais at a defining moment in her career. In 2025, she released Coisas Naturais, her third studio album — a project that deepens her artistic identity with new sensory and lyrical dimensions.
The live show, directed by Vito Soares, Marcelo Jarosz, and Fernanda Fiuza, expands the album’s concept into a raw and immersive stage experience. It stands as one of the most anticipated performances of the festival.
Ana Frango Elétrico closes a landmark tour in Portugal
Ana Frango Elétrico will perform the farewell show of the tour for Me Chama de Gato Que Eu Sou Sua, the acclaimed album released in October 2023. The record cemented the artist’s place as one of the most innovative voices in contemporary Brazilian music.
After more than 50 shows across Latin America, Europe, and Japan, the tour comes to a close in grand fashion. The setlist features tracks from the award-winning album, alongside reinterpretations of older material and tributes to composers who share Ana Frango Elétrico’s aesthetic universe.
