Unprecedented partnership in pagode

Bringing together generations and iconic voices of Brazilian music, Marvvila and Ivete Sangalo present “Você Não Vai Sofrer,” a song blending swing, emotion, and empowerment. The single inaugurates a new phase of the project “Só Vvamo na Ilha Itanhangá.”

The partnership arose spontaneously: Marvvila, a long-time admirer of Ivete, invited her directly, and the Bahian singer accepted immediately. The first live performance took place at the “Só Vvamo na Ilha Itanhangá” event in Rio de Janeiro in October.

Lyrics and message

With verses about self-care, the end of relationships, and emotional overcoming, the track combines lightness and swing. The song promotes female empowerment and freedom, highlighting women’s protagonism in pagode.

Production and official video

Written by Léo Menezzez, Delao, Luis Fortes, and Cezza, “Você Não Vai Sofrer” merges contemporary pagode with Brazilian popular music. The release includes the official music video on Marvvila’s YouTube channel.
