At Sesc Pompeia, Matu Miranda plays the final Matutando tour show on Feb 12, with special guest Marina Peralta.
The concert is set for February 12 at 8:00 PM in São Paulo and seals the closing chapter of the artist’s debut-album cycle, released in 2024. On the Sesc listing, it appears as a “show of the album Matutando,” scheduled for the venue’s theater with an expected 90-minute runtime.
A set built between jazz and Brazilian roots
Over the tour, Matu Miranda shaped a live set that blends Brazilian instrumental music, Northeastern references, MPB, soul, jazz, and pop. The official Sesc text frames him as an artist “in constant motion,” moving between tradition and contemporary sounds.
On stage, he leads with voice and acoustic guitar, steering the show’s musical direction while the band expands the arrangements and improvisational edge. This final night in São Paulo lands as a milestone—one last chance to hear the tour’s signature repertoire in its full form.
Special guest and full band
The farewell date includes a special appearance by Marina Peralta, adding another layer to the night’s vocal and rhythmic palette. The announced lineup features Antônio Fischer-Band (piano and co-musical direction), Giordano Gasparin (bass), Arthur Martau (drums), Junior Matos (sax and percussion), and Arthur Scarpini (guitar).
From the album to the screen: official videos
Released in 2024, Matutando is Matu Miranda’s first full-length album, featuring 10 original tracks (including collaborations) and guest appearances such as Lenine, Carlos Malta, Arismar do Espírito Santo, Bebê Kramer, and Michael Pipoquinha. The project’s backstory includes pandemic-era creation and a nomadic phase across multiple Brazilian cities.
Among the tracks that also gained a visual life, “AGORA” (with Michael Pipoquinha) was published as an official music video on February 27, 2024.

“Lagrimar” also received an official video release, published on June 28, 2024, highlighting the lyrical sensibility that echoes throughout the tour’s live narrative.
