The funk artist releases his first single of the year connecting the energy of funk with the traditional sound of the cavaquinho, an instrument that symbolizes samba and Brazilian Carnival. The track, produced by DJ Glenner and featuring MC Meno K, went viral on social media even before its official release.

The lyrics of “Carnaval” explore elements of the Brazilian summer: beach, sun, caipirinha, partying and romance. With a light and inviting atmosphere, the song was designed to dominate dance floors and seasonal playlists.

Impressive hits and numbers

The release comes after a 2025 filled with success for MC Luuky. The artist closed the year with “Final do Ano,” a collaboration alongside MC Hariel, MC Ryan SP and DJ Thi Marquez. The track brought together three of the biggest forces in current funk: Hariel with over 8.5 million monthly listeners on Spotify, Ryan SP surpassing 21 million, and Luuky himself maintaining around 10 million monthly listeners.

Known for hits like “Malvadinho,” “Desacato” and “300 no 7,” plus the album “Menor do Desacato,” MC Luuky has proven his ability to transform viral previews into official successes. His versatility and sonic identity position him as one of the constantly evolving names in São Paulo funk.

New phase and sonic experimentation

With “Carnaval,” MC Luuky bets on sounds that directly dialogue with Brazilian culture, expanding his reach beyond funk’s traditional audience. The partnership with MC Meno K and DJ Glenner reinforces this experimental approach, delivering a song tailor-made for summer.

The single marks a new chapter in the artist’s career, who remains connected to the genre’s trends and young audiences, maintaining himself as one of the main references in Brazilian funk.
