Marking 40 years on stage, Milton Guedes brings danceable mashups and original hits to Teatro Rival Petrobras on March 6 at 7:30 PM.
A musical celebration in downtown Rio
Following the overwhelming success of his last performance, Milton Guedes returns to the stage of Teatro Rival Petrobras in downtown Rio de Janeiro with the show “Milton Guedes Para Dançar” (Milton Guedes — Made to Dance). The concert takes place on Friday, March 6, at 7:30 PM, and is set to transform the venue into a full-on dance floor.
Celebrating over 40 years of career, the singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist revisits hits that have resonated across generations. The setlist is designed to keep the audience singing, dancing, and smiling from the first song to the last.
Original classics and surprise mashups
The night features standout originals like “Sonho de Uma Noite de Verão” (Dream of a Summer Night), a staple of Brazilian dance floors since the 1990s, and “Jeito Sexy”, the hit immortalized by Fat Family that continues to win over new audiences.
Milton’s signature mashups are also on the menu — bold and surprising blends of Brazilian and international hits that have become his artistic trademark. Highlights include musical collisions between Dua Lipa & Rita Lee, Bruno Mars & Lulu Santos, and Coldplay & Cazuza.
Self-produced arrangements and electronic beats
Backed by his full band, Milton performs new arrangements and electronic programming entirely produced by himself — a testament to his creative versatility and command of different musical eras and styles.
The idea is simple: bring together songs that are part of our history and turn it all into one big party. It’s about forgetting your worries and living a light moment… singing, remembering, and above all, dancing. Milton Guedes
