Musicarium opens applications for its 2026 selection process for children aged 4 to 6 interested in musical initiation.
The Musicarium Academia Filarmônica Brasileira has opened enrollment for the 2026/1 selection of its Musical Introduction Program. Registration runs from November 1 to 30 and is open to children aged 4 to 6 from anywhere in Brazil.
The institution, now in its seventh year, has become a national reference in humanistic music education. Musicarium supports more than 180 scholarship students, most coming from public schools.
The children’s musical initiation program aims to develop sensitivity, perception and musical expression through singing, solfège, percussion instruments, games and activities that encourage playful musical experiences.
“Our focus is to build the foundation for high-performance orchestras, with teachers selected for their technical mastery and their ability to work with children and teenagers”.
The selection process includes online registration and an in-person evaluation. Assessments will take place at the Musicarium and include rhythmic and melodic aptitude tests, as well as family interviews.
The institution is funded by donations and sponsorships, ensuring free courses for all approved students.
