“Música na Poesia – Songs by Marco Ozzetti and Simone Bacelar” lands on streaming platforms on February 25, 2026. The EP brings four previously unreleased songs and leans into creative closeness: poetry up front, crisp arrangements, and a vocal performance built on nuance rather than spectacle.

From home experiments to the studio

The project traces back to September 2022, when musician and composer Marco Ozzetti started writing original songs in an experimental way. He recorded them with a simple, home-based setup and launched a YouTube channel to document and share the process.

That same year, Marco began a collaboration with Salvador-born poet Simone Bacelar after coming across one of her poems on social media. The connection was immediate and led to “Lugar Algum,” the duo’s first co-write, followed by other songs that pair Marco’s melodies with Simone’s vivid, sensitive imagery.

How Ná chose the songs

The YouTube recordings quickly drew listeners in — including Ná Ozzetti. Captivated by the repertoire, she suggested recording a selection of her brother’s songs. As she curated the tracklist, a telling coincidence appeared: the four choices also matched the channel’s most-played uploads, all written by Marco Ozzetti with Simone Bacelar.

That alignment also shaped the title, “Música na Poesia,” capturing the EP’s core idea: Ná Ozzetti interpreting songs by Marco Ozzetti and Simone Bacelar, where family ties meet careful listening and the living tradition of contemporary Brazilian songwriting.

Arrangements, guests, and credits

Marco signs the compositions, the string arrangements, and the guitar and cavaquinho recordings. Ná brings a poised, mature reading that expands songs already powered by the friction and embrace between word and sound.

The EP was built collectively, featuring percussionist Thata Ozzetti (rhythmic concepts and recordings) and bassist Xantilee Jesus. Special guests include Mário Manga, who conceived and performed the cello part on “Lugar Algum”; Fernando Sagawa, who conceived and performed the saxophone section on “Sou Estações”; and Luana Ozzetti, who adds cuíca on “Dividi com Você”.

Musical production is by Dante Ozzetti, with direct contributions from Marco and Ná, underscoring the project’s collaborative family spirit. Recording took place at Estúdio 185, with audio engineering by Marcos Mendonça. Mixing and mastering were handled by Jonas Tatit at Estúdio Pratápolis (São Paulo state).

Cover art is by André Salerno, with photos by Vange Milliet, and digital distribution is handled by Tratore.

On “Música na Poesia,” the songs’ journey — from home demos to a full studio session — highlights a work that prizes process, affection, and detail. It also reinforces Ná Ozzetti’s status as a defining interpreter while spotlighting Marco Ozzetti’s composer’s voice, guided by Simone Bacelar’s poetry.
