In São Paulo, Ovy Ayvu offers free professional support for original artists through Ovy Sessions, handling recording, visuals and distribution.
Since September 2025, independent producer Ovy Ayvu has been releasing new music projects while testing fresh ways to create and share art through Ovy Sessions. The idea highlights not only the finished track, but also what comes before it: listening, time, and the creative exchange that shapes each song.
To make that possible, Ovy Ayvu turned a room into a small stage. Using its own resources, the team built a real space for creation and artistic care. The goal goes beyond technical delivery and aims to democratize access to professional music-making for artists often pushed aside by a lack of structure, funding, or opportunities.
By offering concrete conditions for recording, releasing and circulating new work, the project supports creative processes that might not survive without sustained backing. Ovy Ayvu also operates as a label and record company, producing audiovisual and digital assets and distributing releases through its own imprint to strengthen artists’ autonomy.
“I submitted the project to public cultural grants, but so far we haven’t been selected, and every resource we used came from us. I’m still looking for institutional partners and investment to expand the project, whether in reach or in the number of artists”.
“For now, we release one artist a month, but our goal is to release every two weeks. Without support, we have to balance it with our ‘real life’ inside the production company”.
According to director and executive producer Will Felix, the team is pursuing partnerships and investment to grow. At the moment, Ovy Sessions releases one artist per month, with plans to move to a biweekly schedule.
How to apply
Ovy Ayvu keeps an ongoing selection process for artists interested in upcoming editions. Submissions must be fully original. Artists should have an independent trajectory, align with the producer’s philosophy—music as presence, encounter, experience and reflection—and match the project’s artistic ethics.

Releases and audiovisual format
The project has already released singles and sessions by Gabriela Capassi, Uma Luiza da Folha and Natânia Borges. On December 22, Brenda Umbelino’s album arrives on streaming platforms.
In the audiovisual rollout, a single is released in the first week, followed by the full session in the second week on the producer’s YouTube channel.

What’s new in 2026
In 2026, the producer expands with two new social projects: Ayvu Sessions and Sarau da Ovy. Both deepen the proposal of building an ongoing space for circulation, documentation and visibility for independent artists.
About Ovy Ayvu
Ovy Ayvu is an independent producer dedicated to creating, documenting and sharing music and audiovisual projects that strengthen the city’s original scene. Its name comes from Guarani: “Ovy” means wind and “Ayvu” means voice—winds and voices that move through the city, resist, and assert themselves even when there’s little room to be heard.
