Panda releases “Corpo Nu”, a Brazilian country version of “Careless Whisper”, blending pop nostalgia with heartfelt intensity.
Currently one of Brazil’s most streamed artists on Spotify, Panda unveils “Corpo Nu”, a new take on George Michael’s timeless 1980s hit. The track continues his project “Fora do Padrão”, marking an emotional chapter in his career.
Adapted into Portuguese by Marco Esteves, the version brings the emotional core of the original into the world of sertanejo. With modern arrangements and a nostalgic tone, “Corpo Nu” highlights heartbreak, longing, and the struggle of moving on after love.
In Panda’s words, reinterpreting such a symbolic song bridges generations and genres. “Everyone knows that sax melody. We wanted to bring that emotion into our story, with a performance that reflects my own experiences on stage,” he shares.
The song reinforces the strength of his album “Fora do Padrão”, which includes the hit “Calcinha de Renda” with Gusttavo Lima—now surpassing 115 million streams—and other fan favorites like “Porcelanato”, “Minha Rosa”, and “Reconheço”.
