Paraná, from the legendary duo with Chico Rey, performs at Carretão Trevo on April 10 in an all-inclusive show with Willian & Wesley.
The iconic Paraná returns to the stage bringing his greatest sertanejo classics to Contagem. The performance takes place at Carretão Trevo, a traditional venue in Minas Gerais, starting at 9 p.m., offering an exclusive all-inclusive experience.
Produced by João Wellington and Carretão Trevo, the night will also feature the rising duo Willian & Wesley, who will open the event with their mix of original songs and modern sertanejo hits.
Paraná: carrying forward a sertanejo legacy
With a career spanning several decades, Paraná continues the artistic path he built with his late brother Chico Rey. The brothers gained national fame in the 1980s with “Quem Será Seu Outro Amor,” earning a Gold Record and shaping Brazil’s sertanejo scene.
Over the years, they released 20 albums and two DVDs, popularizing songs such as “Operário Vida-Viola,” “Amor Rebelde,” “Alma Transparente,” “Leão Domado,” and “Canarinho Prisioneiro.” Their appearances on TV programs like “Domingão do Faustão” and “Viola, Minha Viola” made them staples of Brazilian musical culture.
Willian & Wesley: the new generation of Minas’ sertanejo
Hailing from Betim, Willian & Wesley represent the fresh energy of modern sertanejo. Since 2017, the duo has gained visibility at key regional events, including Belo Horizonte’s Arraial Festival, with hits like “Porta de Bar.”
With growing partnerships and stage charisma, they promise to warm up the audience and set the tone for a night celebrating tradition and renewal in Brazilian country music.
