Rock Band Festival shakes Jurerê OPEN

Rock Band Festival and Feira Gaúcha Projeto Incomum bring free cultural programming and family attractions to Jurerê OPEN.

Jurerê OPEN will host a diverse cultural weekend, combining music, creativity and family-friendly attractions in Jurerê in_. On Saturday, December 6, the Rock Band Festival by Escola de Música Rafael Bastos takes over Lounge Plataforma 1, presenting a series of live performances by bands formed by students of different ages and skill levels.

The groups will step onto a professional stage, with full show structure, to showcase their musical progress. Over the course of four hours, 20 musicians will perform, distributed across four bands in a format that values artistic education and real stage experience.

At 5 p.m., Banda Cherry opens the program with a set of 80s rock and pop, performed by an adult group. At 6:30 p.m., it is time for Sound of Magic, an all-kids band playing 2000s pop hits.

Next, at 7 p.m., Banda Sound of South takes the stage with a repertoire of 90s and 2000s rock, played by adult musicians. Closing the night at 8 p.m., the children’s band Cocorócas do Rock performs a selection of 70s and 80s classic rock.

The goal of the Rock Band Festival is to celebrate the work developed throughout the year, reinforcing support for culture, artistic development and interaction between aspiring musicians. Admission is free, the event is suitable for all ages and production is handled by May Produções.

In addition to the musical marathon, Jurerê OPEN will also host the Feira Gaúcha Projeto Incomum on December 5, 6 and 7. The fair will occupy Plataforma 1 with a curated selection of crafts, authorial design, handmade products and traditional cuisine from Rio Grande do Sul.

Visitors will find items such as fashion pieces, chimarrão accessories, wooden boards, handloom fabrics and a variety of regional products from southern Brazil. The fair will be open from noon to 10 p.m., with free admission, reinforcing the accessible and family-oriented character of the program.
