Rock the Mountain 2025 ends with major performances

The festival gathered 150,000 people and announced Dominguinho, with João Gomes, Mestrinho, and Jota.pê, for 2026.

Rock the Mountain wrapped up its 2025 edition with a memorable weekend in Rio de Janeiro’s mountain region. Over six days, the event attracted around 150,000 people, celebrating Brazilian and international music in a vibrant natural setting.

Memorable shows and vibrant crowd

The final day featured performances by Caetano Veloso, Ana Carolina, Fundo de Quintal, Banks, BK, Criolo, Marina Sena, Pedro Sampaio, and more. Celebrities such as Débora Nascimento, Jesuíta Barbosa, Valentina Herszage, Johnny Massaro, and Marcella Rica attended the closing celebration.

At the Floresta stage, highlights included Caetano Veloso and the samba group Fundo de Quintal. On the Estrela stage, the audience enjoyed Joyce Alane, Criolo, Capital Inicial, and João Gomes, who surprised fans with Mestrinho as a special guest. Pedro Sampaio closed the night with an energetic performance full of hits.

During the festival, organizers announced the first confirmed act for 2026: Dominguinho, the trio formed by João Gomes, Mestrinho, and Jota.pê. Ticket sales begin on November 12 through the event’s official website.

Committed to sustainability, Rock the Mountain 2025 earned the ISO 20121:2024 international certification and offset 100% of CO₂ emissions for the second consecutive year. The event also promoted sustainable mobility, free hydration points, and anti-harassment initiatives, reinforcing its role as an inclusive and environmentally conscious festival.
