Rock the Mountain shook Itaipava with music and tributes

Festival in Itaipava featured Baianasystem, Supla, Evinha, Don L, Samuel Rosa, and L’Impératrice, with a tribute to Lô Borges.

The second weekend of Rock the Mountain brought energy to Itaipava with remarkable performances and heartfelt tributes. Held from November 7 to 9, the festival featured major Brazilian and international artists, reaffirming its place among the country’s leading music events.

On Friday (Nov 7), the Floresta Stage hosted rapper Don L, French band L’Impératrice, and the vibrant Baianasystem, blending Afro rock and Brazilian rhythms. On the Estrela Stage, Evinha once again enchanted the audience, while Samuel Rosa opened his set with a touching tribute to Lô Borges, performing “Um girassol da cor do seu cabelo.”

At the Aurora Stage, Supla thrilled the crowd with hits such as “Baile Punk,” “O Charada Brasileiro,” and “Garota de Berlim.” The lineup also included powerful performances by trans artist Valéria Barcellos and singer Augusta Barna from Minas Gerais.

Experiences beyond the stages

In addition to the main concerts, Rock the Mountain offered a variety of interactive experiences. The Coreto Stage featured Edimilson dos Teclados and the parties Back to the 2000s and Baile da Cabra, led by DJ Cabra Guaraná. The Fervo Tent hosted DJs Jama Beats, Camilla Brunetta, and the Primavera, te amo party.

At the Magic Disco, DJ Felipe Mar and Melina Blley, from Drag Race Brasil, set the tone for the night. Meanwhile, Ohana Conda and Beto Artista kept the energy high at the Rock House. On the Samba Stage, the all-female group Samba Que Elas Querem wrapped up the evening with infectious rhythm.

A growing festival experience

In 2024, Rock the Mountain gathered over 100,000 attendees across five days at the Parque Municipal Prefeito Paulo Rattes in Itaipava. Featuring 11 stages, a food court, zip line, Ferris wheel, and art installations, the festival continued to innovate and deliver a unique experience in Rio’s mountain region.
