Born during Ryu’s latest creative camp, “Potência” emerged as a freestyle moment, channeling raw spontaneity and energy. “This track is 100% about my crew’s authenticity. I want to bring my brothers along into this new chapter,” Ryu explains, emphasizing the importance of creative unity in his music.

Born in Vitória da Conquista, Bahia, Ryan Gonçalves—known as Ryu, The Runner—began producing trap beats at 13 and launched his solo career in 2020. Since then, he has become one of the leading voices in Brazil’s new trap generation, earning gold and platinum certifications and charting in both Brazil and Portugal.
