The album emerges from a personal and artistic journey that began during the pandemic, when Samira shifted from architecture to music. Songs written between 2020 and 2023 reflect an inner search, the act of facing fears and embracing presence.

The tracks unfold like chapters of this path. “Coragem” opens the album with voice and nylon guitars. “Digo Sim” brings a sunny groove mixing MPB, rock and blues. “Estou Viva”, the acoustic flamenco-tinged title track, stands at the center as a manifesto of presence. “Sinto Muito (Vivo)” carries xote to the dance floor, while “Dançando na Impermanência” closes the album celebrating movement.

Produced by Gabriel de Goes Gabriel, the album was recorded by Cauê Dok at Dok Estúdio. The band supporting the artist since 2023 includes Marcelo Lemos, Bruno Iasi and Julia Toledo. Guest musicians include Nanda Guedes, Luca Frazão, Camila Silva, Everton Reis and Yuri Chix. Mastering is by Leo Shina.

The visual concept expands into three atmospheres. The cover focuses on a red palette symbolizing pulse and presence. Photos and visualizers were created by Samira with photographer Bruna Laja, responsible for photography direction, lighting and editing. The cover art is by Liyeh Myoung, with wardrobe by Ateliê Sal and beauty by Thais Conrado.

Supported by more than 100 contributors through a crowdfunding campaign, “Estou Viva” unfolds from the 2024 show of the same name and marks a new phase in the artist’s trajectory.
