Following the success of the first act, singer Sarah Roston continues her debut trilogy with the release of Act II on March 26. The project, supported by the PROAC 24/2024 grant, deepens her artistic journey through sensuality, self-awareness, and emotional strength.

“Sensível Ao Toque” unfolds in three acts representing the evolution of the modern Black woman’s desires. In this chapter, Sarah explores the intersection of pleasure and vulnerability. “It’s about a Black woman confident enough to play with power dynamics while still demanding affection,” she explains.

The standout track “PINÓQUIO”, featuring rapper Amabbi, blends reggaeton with Bahian pagodão, playfully mocking unreliable lovers. “I always imagined this track with multiple women telling different ‘Pinóquio’ stories,” says Sarah.

Highlighting her musical range, “FLOR QUE TU FUMA” combines sertanejo and R&B, accompanied by a short film directed by Guilherme Gomes and produced by Twyla Hase. Meanwhile, “SE EU FALASSE QUE TE AMO?” fuses samba-rock and bachata to question how far love can really go.

With over 12 years in music, Sarah Roston has written for artists like Xênia França and Léo Santana, and contributed to soundtracks for Netflix and Prime Video. With this album, she cements her sound between Afrobeats, R&B, and Brazilian roots — celebrating identity, sensuality, and emotional independence.
