Slayer is set to return to Brazil with a landmark performance: a full live rendition of “Reign in Blood,” marking the album’s 40th anniversary. The show takes place on December 17, 2026, at Allianz Parque in São Paulo.
A defining metal record
Originally released in 1986, “Reign in Blood” remains one of the most influential thrash metal albums ever recorded. Its speed, precision, and intensity helped shape the sound of extreme music for generations.
Four decades later, Slayer revisits the album in full, offering fans a rare chance to experience the record exactly as it was conceived — live on stage.
Exclusive Brazilian date
The São Paulo concert will be the only performance in Brazil featuring the complete album. Other appearances throughout the year will include different setlists, making this show particularly unique.
The performance is part of Slayer’s selected return to the stage, following their farewell tour announcement in 2018 and subsequent comeback in 2024.
Lineup highlights
The night will also feature Korzus, a key name in Brazilian thrash metal, and Kreator, one of the most influential bands from the German scene.
As a member of the “Big Four,” alongside Metallica, Megadeth, and Anthrax, Slayer has built a legacy defined by uncompromising sound and global impact.
