Gabriel Silva, Vini Vercillo and Banda Arcade take the stage at Soberano Jazz Club in Itaipava from Thursday to Saturday this week.
Nestled in the mountains of Rio de Janeiro state, the town of Itaipava is once again proving its place on the Brazilian live music map. The Soberano Jazz Club, inside Shopping Estação Locanda, has lined up three nights of carefully curated performances — covering black music, the new wave of MPB, and nostalgic pop-rock.
Gabriel Silva opens with “Let’s Groove” on Thursday (March 19)
The week kicks off on Thursday, March 19, at 8:30 PM, with Gabriel Silva and his show “Let’s Groove.” A nationally recognized name after his standout run on The Voice Brasil, the singer from Petrópolis commands the stage with a voice that moves seamlessly between deep baritone and precise high notes.
The show is a full celebration of black music, blending the infectious pop of Jorge Ben Jor with classics from soul, funk and R&B. Backed by a tight band, Gabriel turns the night into a pure groove experience — and a reminder of why he ranks among the most in-demand performers in the region.
Vini Vercillo launches the “Real” tour on Friday (March 20)
On Friday, March 20, at 9 PM, Soberano welcomes the multifaceted talent of Vini Vercillo — singer, songwriter and virtuoso guitarist. Itaipava marks the launch of his brand-new tour, “Real,” showcasing a modern sound that blends pop, R&B and jazz influences into a distinctly Brazilian voice.
The set spotlights Vini’s refined guitar technique — an instrument he has mastered professionally since his teens — alongside original hits like “Somos Nós” and “Real,” and sophisticated reinterpretations of iconic artists such as Lulu Santos and Ed Motta. An evening that balances poetic sensitivity with instrumental precision.
Banda Arcade closes the week with “Vale Tudo!” on Saturday (March 21)
On Saturday, March 21, at 9 PM, Banda Arcade returns to Soberano following the success of their previous shows. The six-piece group — Gabriel Dossan (vocals), Tai Puentes (vocals), Jess Campos (vocals), Victor Barros (guitar), Fernando Moraes (bass) and Felipe Carvalho (drums) — delivers “Vale Tudo!”, a vibrant journey through the biggest hits of the 70s, 80s and 90s, plus current favorites.
Saturday night gets an extra boost from DJ Mike Pitzer, who takes over the decks before and after the show, keeping the crowd moving with a sophisticated, groove-forward setlist — the perfect complement to a full night out in Itaipava.
The full Soberano experience
Guests are encouraged to arrive early and enjoy the happy hour starting at 5 PM, featuring double draft beer and a 20% discount on the snack menu. From 6 PM, Radamés Bistrô opens for dinner, with a special menu paired to the house’s curated wine list. The open-air Espaço Havana lounge is available for cigar enthusiasts looking to unwind before or after the shows.
