Brazilian samba and pagode star Thiaguinho gave fans their first look at Act II of his album “Bem Black” on Tuesday, March 24, revealing the cover art on his social media along with a snippet of the unreleased track “Pensamentos Intrusivos” (Intrusive Thoughts).

The complete album arrives on all major streaming platforms on Friday, March 27, at midnight. The project serves as a powerful celebration of Black Brazilian culture, delivered across two acts.

Nine tracks and special guests

Act II marks the second half of Thiaguinho’s 25th studio album. It features nine songs — six originals and three re-recordings — with guest appearances by Negra Li, Walmir Borges, and Sandra de Sá, who also appeared on the first act.

The album was recorded at Club Homs, a legendary São Paulo venue historically tied to Black music dance parties — locally known as bailes black — from past decades. The setting anchors the project’s cultural and historical significance.

Tour kicks off in April

Riding the momentum of Bem Black, Thiaguinho launches a new tour in April. The opening night takes place at the Suhai Music Hall in São Paulo on April 11, followed by stops in Curitiba, Recife, and Rio de Janeiro.
