Una Sofía is taking a decisive step in her artistic journey with the live debut of “canção para o caminho.” On June 18, the Colombian singer-songwriter presents the EP on stage for the first time at Casa Rockambole in São Paulo, turning an intimate record into a fully realized live experience.
From studio to stage
Originally released in May, the EP gains new layers in its live format. The performance blends acoustic arrangements, live-recorded instruments, and visual projections designed to expand the emotional and aesthetic scope of the songs.
“This show is a celebration of the journey and the processes that shaped this EP. We’ll also experiment with projections to expand its visual universe on stage,” says una sofía.
Collaborations on stage
The concert features special appearances by singer Luna Gouveia and producer Josefe, who co-produced the EP alongside Victor Kroner. Kroner also leads the artistic direction of the show, shaping its narrative and visual identity.
On stage, una sofía is joined by Bento Sarto (guitar), Júlia Toledo (piano), Tomás Coelho (percussion), and Francisco Nogueira (bass), forming a band that supports the project’s organic and intimate sound.
A bilingual musical identity
“canção para o caminho” reflects both geographic and emotional displacement, connecting una sofía’s Colombian roots with her life in Brazil. The bilingual project moves between Portuguese and Spanish, drawing from latin folk, MPB, and indie pop.
Produced by Victor Kroner and Josefe, both nominees at the Brazilian Music Awards, the EP features six tracks that explore genres such as bolero, waltz, samba, and traditional songwriting. Themes of identity, transformation, and personal growth guide both the record and its live adaptation.
“This record is my way of offering the music I grew up listening to in Colombia to Brazil. I feel proud of my roots and grateful to be here now,” she says.
An artist across mediums
At 23, una sofía builds a body of work that bridges music and film. She directs her own music videos, expanding the narrative dimension of her songs. Based in São Paulo since 2020, she has developed a sound rooted in Latin American traditions, MPB, and jazz, with a strong focus on organic arrangements.
The Casa Rockambole show brings these elements together, offering a performance that deepens the connection between memory, identity, and artistic expression.
