Guided by José Saramago’s phrase “Don’t waste time, but don’t hurry,” the Brazilian singer-songwriter revisits two key works of his career in one concert. The show “Mantra Concreto + Tambong” takes place at Sesc Pinheiros’ Teatro Paulo Autran at 8 p.m.

Released in 2000, “Tambong” was Ramil’s first album recorded in Buenos Aires and turns 25 in 2025. In the same creative wave, “Mantra Concreto” was born — an album that sets Paulo Leminski’s poetry to music, blending words and melodies with Ramil’s signature subtlety.

The repertoire includes songs like “De repente,” “Um bom poema,” “Sujeito Indireto,” and “Amar você” from “Mantra Concreto,” alongside “Não é céu,” “Estrela, Estrela,” and “Subte” from “Tambong.” Joining Ramil are Edu Martins and Alexandre Fonseca, who co-produced both albums.

Visuals by Vini Albernaz and photos by Facundo de Zuviría enrich the performance, while Isabel Ramil handles lighting and stage design. The voice of poet Paulo Leminski introduces the concert, echoing: “Music is the natural destiny of human beings.”
