WAAW by Alok, a national reference in speakers and headphones, is the official audio brand of the Liberte o Seu Melhor (Free Your Best) truck, led by DJ Alok, at Salvador Carnival. This Sunday, February 15, starting at 6 PM, the artist performs on the Barra-Ondina Circuit in a pipoca (popcorn) format electric truck, open to the public without passes or ropes, reinforcing the democratic character of his participation in the world’s largest street carnival.

The partnership between WAAW and Alok began in 2022, from a partnership between WAP, Brazil’s largest consumer technology developer, and Alok, the most-listened-to Brazilian artist in the world. From this partnership, WAAW was born with the purpose of offering high-quality products in the audio segment and increasingly emerging in the DJ’s lifestyle universe. In his setup, Alok uses the WAAW SENSE 200 headphones, which have 25 hours of battery life to keep the truck going.

Together with Alok, we develop strategic territories where the brand connects naturally, with music as the main pillar because it’s part of our DNA. Carnival enters as an organic extension of this strategy because it’s a great musical and cultural celebration. It’s a democratic and vibrant space, aligned with the brand’s values and purpose Tiago Veiga, Head of Marketing and CX at WAAW

On his truck, Alok promotes the encounter of Bahia’s magic with the power of electronic music, brings his global strength to the heart of Brazilian culture and, year after year, transforms Salvador Carnival into an increasingly larger phenomenon on the international scene.
