“The Freedom of Now – Real Time Sessions” brings together four masters of improvisation for an evening of pure spontaneity, transforming each beat into a living conversation between jazz, electronic, rock and Brazilian rhythms.

Improvisation and musical diversity

Will Calhoun, two-time Grammy winner and Living Colour’s drummer, combines African roots, blues, jazz and rock in his unique style. Alongside him, Marcos Suzano — a global reference in Brazilian percussion — anchors the groove with his mesmerizing pandeiro.

DJ Marcelinho da Lua adds electronic textures with beats and samples drawn from deep musical ancestry, while Guilherme Gê brings bass moog and keyboards shaped by jazz and electronic influences.

“The idea is to live the sound in the present — to create the unexpected.”

The concert offers a one-of-a-kind experience where improvisation and musical dialogue merge into an unforgettable performance.
