On Christmas Eve, XG released the emotional ballad “4 SEASONS”, a prelude to their upcoming first full-length album, THE CORE – 核, set for January 23, 2026. The unexpected release was a heartfelt holiday gift for fans.

Performed by members CHISA, HINATA, and JURIA, the acoustic track captures deep, unspoken emotions shaped by time and distance. Its gentle guitar tones and lush production evoke reflection and warmth as the singers’ feelings intertwine with the shifting seasons.

The song reflects the emotional transitions across four seasons, portraying how shared moments, nostalgia, and longing coexist. Its minimalist arrangement and tender vocals create a serene, immersive listening experience that lingers well beyond its final notes.

The official music video follows the trio through changing seasons, highlighting warmth, connection, and comfort found in shared moments. Watch it on https://youtu.be/-XrrMwG8jRI.

Global rise and upcoming era

Following a standout performance on the season finale of The Voice USA, XG’s visibility skyrocketed. Their stage of “GALA” fueled trending discussions on X (formerly Twitter), and Google searches for the group surged over 1,000% nationwide.

Throughout 2025, XG solidified its global presence, closing their 1st WORLD TOUR “The first HOWL” at the Tokyo Dome and performing as a headliner at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival — a milestone for Japanese artists.

THE CORE – 核 arrives on January 23, 2026, with ten tracks, including “4 SEASONS” and September’s hit single “GALA.” Their next worldwide concert series, XG WORLD TOUR: THE CORE, begins in February 2026.
