Second episode of MasterChef Celebrities airs Tuesday with challenges and elimination.
Band airs the second episode of MasterChef Celebrities next Tuesday at 10:20 p.m. After an emotional premiere filled with iconic challenges, the contestants return more confident. In this round, they are divided into four pairs and one trio.
With the teams formed, host Márcia Goldschmidt, journalist Rachel Sheherazade, singers Dodô, from Pixote, Gilmelândia and Valesca Popozuda, actors Julianne Trevisol, Leonardo Miggiorin and Luciano Szafir, country singer Tiago Piquilo, former athlete Maurren Maggi and influencer John Drops prepare an appetizer and a main dish featuring tomato as the star ingredient. The best dishes secure another week in the competition.
In the elimination challenge, participants enter a lively bar setting with samba and celebration. Soon after, Henrique Fogaça presents unexpected appetizers: crunchy and caramelized insects, including cockroaches, crickets and larvae. Those who dare to taste them gain an advantage. The final task requires a portion with six units of a fried snack and an impeccable sauce. Anyone who fails to please judges Erick Jacquin, Helena Rizzo and Fogaça leaves the competition.
Created by Franc Roddam, the MasterChef format is represented internationally by the Banijay Group. The program is produced by Endemol Shine Brasil for Band and Discovery Home & Health. The talent show airs Tuesdays at 10:20 p.m., with reruns on Sundays at 4 p.m. It is also broadcast on Fridays at 8:15 p.m. on HBO Max and Discovery Home & Health.
