INSIDER donates 82,000 new garments to Gerando Falcões to boost ASMARA program and social bazaars. Initiative drives female entrepreneurship and income in SP favelas.
Donation empowers women’s independence
INSIDER, a leader in tech-driven sustainable fashion, gave 82,000 new garments to Gerando Falcões. Made with biodegradable materials, they support the ASMARA program and the NGO’s social bazaars.
ASMARA draws from Bangladesh and Paraguay models. Women form leagues, access solidarity microcredit, and resell clothes locally. Over 3,000 in São Paulo have benefited.
“Insider and Gerando Falcões share goals: we use textile tech for durable clothes […] while the NGO applies social tech to uplift favela life,” says Yuri Gricheno, INSIDER CEO.
Bazaars channel profits to social impact
Some pieces go to ASMARA. Others stock bazaars in São Paulo and Poá. All profits fund Gerando Falcões projects, creating favela income.
CEO Edu Lyra notes: each garment shifts lives. Such partnerships blend private sector, circular fashion, and social change for mutual wins.
