KFC Brazil expands with 30 new stores in 2025

KFC Brazil will open 30 new stores in 2025 and plans to reach 500 units by 2030, focusing on Drive-Thru formats and national growth.

KFC Brazil, one of the world’s largest fried chicken chains, is accelerating its expansion in 2025 with the opening of 30 new restaurants across the country. The strategy follows the brand’s global plan to strengthen convenience, increase market presence, and expand formats such as the Drive-Thru, with five new units scheduled by the end of the year.

According to Otávio Pimentel, CEO of KFC Brazil, this expansion reinforces the brand’s growth momentum and ambition to reach new regions. “We are living one of the most strategic moments in our history in Brazil. The opening of 30 new stores this year, including five Drive-Thru operations, reflects our confidence in the market and our commitment to smart, consumer-driven growth,” he stated.

“We are generating jobs in new regions, and most of our hires are linked to future growth. We aim to be closer to our customers, providing convenience, speed, and a consistent brand experience.”

Agressive expansion plan

The acceleration plan positions Brazil as a strategic market with strong expansion potential. One of its main goals is to reach around 500 units by 2030, focusing on company-owned stores and strengthening KFC’s competitiveness in the national fast-food industry.

The new stores will open in shopping malls, commercial centers, and major urban areas. In the Southeast, expansion includes cities such as São Paulo, Sorocaba, Ribeirão Preto, Limeira, Santo André, Catanduva, and São Roque, along with Ipatinga (MG), Campos dos Goytacazes, and Volta Redonda (RJ).

In the South, the brand focuses on economically and touristically relevant areas, with openings in Londrina, Foz do Iguaçu, and Maringá. KFC Brazil is also expanding across the Midwest, Northeast, and North regions, including Goiânia, Cuiabá, Brasília, Belém, Maceió, João Pessoa, São Luís, Caruaru, and Paulista.
