Le Cordon Bleu Rio hosts the 3rd Expo LCB celebrating 130 years

Le Cordon Bleu Rio holds the 3rd Expo LCB on September 27 with renowned chefs, practical classes and over 40 food stands.

On Saturday, September 27, Le Cordon Bleu celebrates Rio de Janeiro’s gastronomy for the third consecutive year. The event marks the 130th anniversary of the world’s largest culinary school.

The Rio de Janeiro unit will once again open its doors to host renowned chefs and restaurants. Ten practical and theoretical classes will be held in the institute’s kitchens.

More than 40 food stands operated by restaurants and Le Cordon Bleu students will offer gastronomic creations to the public.

The 3rd Expo Le Cordon Bleu takes place from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. in Botafogo and expects to welcome more than 3,500 visitors.

According to Carla Rosas, director of Le Cordon Bleu Brazil, the 2023 and 2024 editions welcomed over 5,000 people in just one day.

“This year promises to be even more special as we celebrate 130 years of this important institution. We aim to further strengthen Rio’s gastronomic market,” she says.

Heaven Delhaye, David Mansoud, Ana Carolina Garcia, Dandara Batista and Rafael Cavalieri are among the chefs responsible for the demonstration classes with tasting.

Head chefs Philippe Brye, Yann Kamps and Ozair Cavalcanti will lead three hands-on classes in the school’s kitchens.

For children, chef Paula Prandini will conduct a special practical class.

Several renowned chefs and restaurants will also be present with stands, along with more than 20 selected students and alumni.

Tramontina will be the official sponsor of the 3rd Expo LCB.
