The pet products and beauty segments are expected to show strong growth in online sales during Black Friday. The data comes from a survey conducted by Social Digital Commerce, a digital commerce specialist.

According to the company, the pet sector shows an average increase of 8% to 10% in online sales during the period. The growth is driven mainly by food, accessories and animal health categories.

Meanwhile, the beauty and cosmetics market has grown by an average of 10% per year during the Black Friday period.

“Looking at Social’s own numbers, the pet segment grew more than 40% from 2024 to 2025, and we expect an increase above 25% during Black Friday,” says Diogo Olher, co-founder and VP of Marketing and Digital Business.

According to him, the projection indicates a 35% higher sales volume for the pet sector compared with the average of previous months.

In the beauty and cosmetics segment, the company recorded growth above 80% from 2024 to 2025, with an expected increase above 20% during Black Friday.

The forecast also points to a 40% higher sales volume compared to the previous monthly average in this category.

The projections reflect the performance of both sectors throughout the year. The Brazilian pet market grows between 9% and 12% annually.

In e-commerce, the pet segment grows between 3% and 5% per year due to its already high base.

In the beauty and cosmetics category, the market grows between 7% and 12% annually. In e-commerce, this figure reaches 20%.
