This Sunday (11), Roxy in Copacabana hosted an afternoon marked by celebration and high-voltage emotion with “Fala Sério, Mãe! – Elas só mudam de endereço”. Author Thalita Rebouças and the cast welcomed guests for a special performance that gathered artists, families, teens, and children, reaffirming the show as a bridge between generations.

The second performance, at 4:30 pm, played to a full house and a star-studded audience, with a guest list signed by Carol Sampaio. After prolonged applause, Thalita announced the presence of her friend Ingrid Guimarães, to whom she dedicated the show. Guimarães played the same character in the film adaptation.

Among the guests, Mateus Solano attended with his children, alongside other well-known names from Brazil’s arts scene. The dialogue between stage and audience became even more pointed in a “theater inside the theater” moment, when an actress mentioned celebrities in the room and said she had spotted Marcos Caruso, prompting immediate laughs and applause.

Throughout the afternoon, several scenes earned standing ovations and visible emotion from the crowd. Actor Paulo Betti arrived eager and shared his anticipation about seeing Rebouças and discovering the production.

“I’m very curious to get to know the show, and I can’t wait to see Thalita, who is wonderful.”

Nando Cunha attended with his 13-year-old son, Davi Cunha, and highlighted the show’s emotional core, touching on motherhood and the conflicts of adolescence. In his view, the musical is ultimately about affection and connection.

“A beautiful show that speaks about the pains and loves of motherhood, about the conflicts that run through adolescence. Above all, it’s a show about affection. So beautiful.”

Otaviano Costa watched the performance alongside Flávia Alessandra and their daughter Olívia, praising the project and citing Alexandre Accioly and Abel Gomes. He said the musical speaks directly to families, balancing laughter and tears.

“I found it impressive, I found it innovative. Once again, Alexandre Accioly and Abel Gomes show how visionary they are, finding new ways to value our theater and our culture. Thalita’s musical goes straight to the heart of the family. I got emotional, Flávia got emotional, Olívia got emotional… and we laughed a lot.”

Flávia Alessandra also celebrated the experience and pointed to Roxy itself as part of the event. She described the show as unmissable, blending humor and heartfelt moments.

“It’s spectacular. Roxy is already an event on its own. This musical is a happening. I laughed, I cried. It’s very beautiful, a one-of-a-kind outing—you can’t miss it.”

The audience also reflected new generations discovering musical theater. Ten-year-old Ana Claudia Senna attended her first musical with her aunt, Bruna Senna, and left delighted by the colors and choreography.

“I loved it. It’s colorful, they dance a lot, it’s really cool.”

After the show, Thalita Rebouças greeted guests and was surprised with a large bouquet from Abel Gomes and Alexandre Accioly featuring lavender, orchid, roses, lilies, chrysanthemums, and other flowers. The gesture echoed the affectionate mood that filled the theater.

Produced by SRCOM and Accioly Entretenimento, the musical is positioning itself as one of the year’s major premieres. The run continues at Roxy through March 29.

Guests included Flávia Alessandra, Ingrid Guimarães, Nando Cunha, Paulo Betti, Otaviano Costa, Marcos Caruso, Evelyn Castro, Dada Coelho, Jessika Alves, Ernesto Piccolo, Capitão Zeferino, Fran Sartor, Adriana Camargo, Laura Matta da Silva and Letícia Pedro, among others.
