Yoki, a General Mills brand, launches “Upside Down Coating” popcorn, inspired by the fifth season of Stranger Things, featuring mysterious flavor and chilling effect.
Created by DAVID agency and produced by Barry Company, the campaign uses the concept “Devour it before it devours you”, showing Hawkins laboratory scientists creating popcorn with vibrant blue coating for an immersive sensory experience.
The campaign includes 30″ and 15″ films, digital media, OOH in bus shelters on Av. Paulista, digital clocks in subway stations, creator participation (@gusta and @jumcassini), and in-store activations.
The product is available in supermarkets and selected stores, with packaging featuring Easter eggs inspired by Hawkins laboratory, combining flavor, visual appeal, and series references. Yoki remains the leader in microwave popcorn in Brazil, offering a diverse portfolio including butter, caramel, chocolate-hazelnut, chef’s touch, light versions, and sachet coatings.
