Sony Channel airs the final episode of “Mamonas Assassinas: The Series,” featuring exclusive unseen material from the iconic Brazilian band.
This week marks three decades since the tragic plane crash that ended the meteoric rise of the Mamonas Assassinas. To honor their legacy, Sony Channel will broadcast the final episode of “Mamonas Assassinas: The Series” on Tuesday, March 3, at 10:50 PM.
The series is an extended version of “Mamonas Assassinas: The Movie,” featuring five episodes of new and unreleased content. Fans will see exclusive backstage footage and rare scenes that delve deeper into the band’s remarkable story.
With its trademark humor and authenticity, the show retraces the journey of Dinho, Bento, Samuel, Sérgio, and Júlio — from their early days performing as “Utopia” to their national breakthrough with hits like “Pelados em Santos” and “Robocop Gay.”
On air since February, the miniseries runs through March with weekly Tuesday episodes at 10:50 PM, closing a heartfelt tribute to one of Brazil’s most beloved musical legends.
